Saturday 30th September – bike *** – Around Felixstowe including lunch by the River Orwell at Landguard – sunny periods and warm.

Last day of September and the nice weather continues with sunny periods and mild, we enjoyed the usual morning at home before I packed a picnic and we biked down to Landguard to sit on the jetty. It was lovely, after a high tide, we did have a full Harvest moon last night after all, the River Orwell was whizzing out. It was good to sea several yachts/boats out in light airs struggling against the tide! We then cycled back along the busy prom as we were seeing an old friend we haven’t seen for mainly years who has recentely moved back to Felixstwe, nice day and tomorrow is looking promising for a windsurf, the first for October!
